- Measurement basis
- Use finish codes to separate LVP, LVT, VCT and sheet vinyl. Quantify underlayment, adhesive, wall base, thresholds and stair nosings separately.
- Inputs to provide
- Plank or tile dimensions, carton coverage, installation method, sheet width, directional pattern and transition details.
- Ordering quantities
- For packaged products, divide the allowed ordering area by carton coverage and round up. For sheet products, review roll cuts, seams and any flash coving. The wear layer does not determine subfloor preparation quantity.
- Scope boundaries
- Existing slab condition, moisture remediation and required leveling depth must be established from project information and site assessment.
